This paper explores the application of blow-up criterion to Lorenz system establish possibility a finite-time outburst when quadratic term is present. The system, set differential equations that models atmospheric convection, known for its chaotic behavior and has been subject extensive research because sensitivity initial conditions. By analyzing using criterion, conditions under which can lead solution becomes infinite in finite time are investigated. notion great importance theory partial dynamical systems. A Blow-up Criterion for the Compressible Navier-stokes Equations
In this paper, we obtain a blow up criterion for strong solutions to the 3-D compressible Naveri-Stokes equations just in terms of the gradient of the velocity, similar to the Beal-Kato-Majda criterion for the ideal incompressible flow. The key ingredients in our analysis are the a priori super-norm estimate of the momentum by a Moser-iteration and an estimate of the space-time square mean of t...

متن کاملBlow up criterion for nematic liquid crystal flows
In this paper, we establish a blow up criterion for the short time classical solution of the nematic liquid crystal flow, a simplified version of Ericksen-Leslie system modeling the hydrodynamic evolution of nematic liquid crystals, in dimensions two and three. More precisely, 0 < T∗ < +∞ is the maximal time interval iff (i) for n = 3, |ω|+|∇d|2 / ∈ Lt L ∞ x (R × [0, T∗]); and (ii) for n = 2, |...
متن کاملNew entropy for Korteweg’s system, existence of global weak solution and new blow-up criterion
This work is devoted to prove the existence of global weak solution for a general isothermal model of capillary fluids derived by J.E Dunn and J.Serrin (1985) (see [18]), which can be used as a phase transition model. More precisely we shall derive in a first part new entropy estimates for the density when we are dealing with specific capillarity coefficient κ(ρ) = 1 ρ (let us emphasize on the ...
متن کاملExact Criterion for Global Existence and Blow Up to a Degenerate Keller-Segel System
A degenerate Keller-Segel system with diffusion exponent m with 2n n+2 < m < 2 − 2 n in multi dimension is studied. An exact criterion for global existence and blow up of solution is obtained. The estimates on L 2n n+2 norm of the solution play important roles in our analysis. These estimates are closely related to the optimal constant in the HardyLittlewoodSobolev inequality. In the case of in...
